Training & Certification in Security and Self Defense Techniques

This course is in person. It will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to work as a Security Guard. Upon successful completion of the course and passing of the final exam you will be provided the certification needed to submit your Security Guard Application to the B.S.I.S. We provide the Livescan services for fingerprinting in our facility as well as free assistance with submitting your application at no extra charge. 

This course must be completed in person. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to carry and utilize a PR24 and Collapsable Baton. Upon completion of the course and passing of the skills assessment, you will be provided the certification needed to submit your Baton Application to the B.S.I.S. This course is in person. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to carry and utilize pepper spray. Upon completion of this course, you will be issued the required permit to carry this weapon as a licensed security officer. There are no application or renewal requirements once this course is completed. Your permit is valid as long as you hold a current Security Guard Permit. This course is in person. The first half of the course is classroom style instruction, and the second half is physical reality-based range instruction. All equipment is supplied during the course. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive certification of proficiency and completion. There are no BSIS permit requirements for this less lethal defense option. This course must be completed in person. This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to carry and utilize a pair of handcuffs. There are no application or renewal requirements once this course is completed. Discount pricing offered when bundling with another Training course. This course is typically paired with Chemical Agent Training.

This course is designed to teach a member of the public the safe carrying, handling and using of pepper spray. Carrying a can of pepper spray on your key chain is helpful, but do you know how to SAFELY use it? Upon completion of this course, you will have no hesitation in using your spray when it will count the most. Discount pricing offered when bundling with another Training course. 

This course is designed to teach you how to utilize multiple types of Tasers. As a Security Professional you will receive a certification upon completion of the course and final skills assessment. As a member of the public this course will give you knowledge and skills to carry and/or utilize different styles of Tasers to determine what works best for you. This course is an open, one-time course that will teach you how to deal with a physical confrontation. You will learn how to defend and attack with different styles of martial arts. This course is not recommended for anyone younger than the age of 12. Additionally, we offer a 3-month training course (2 classes each month) that will provide more in-depth knowledge and skills. 

This course is specifically designed to train women and girls in self-defense tactics that will provide them the physical ability to ward off an attack and get to safety. This course is not recommended for girls younger than 12.
